QlicRice is a database and search engine designed to encompass the majority of publicly-accessible rice quantitative trait loci (QTLs) responsive to abiotic stresses and their corresponding annotated gene (TIGR/MSU) loci. It is an interactive platform for collecting, managing and searching these particular rice QTLs; it also enables the data mining of genomicinformation in rice, specifically in Oryza sativa ssp. Japonica cv. Nipponbare .
QlicRice offers a user-friendly interface and provides multiple search options on the Qlic Search page. You may search for rice QTLs by 1) abiotic stress, 2) QTL identifier, or 3) locus identifier. We have collected 974 abiotic stress-related QTLs with 460 overlapping TIGR/MSU Loci. The QTLs have been functionally characterized using the Gene Ontology (GO) and KEGG Orthology (KO) terms for the mining of relevant data. Comprehensive physical and genetic maps have been generated and the positions of QTLs have been identified relative to their overlapping TIGR Loci.
